XP, Coins & your pizzeria

Two animated examples, clear steps and help when you get stuck.

01 / Try it yourself

Open the doors and hire a cashier.

Your starter Coins cover the first cashier. Cashiers generate Coins; they do not generate XP.

The example opens with 30 Coins, hires a cashier for 20 and keeps 10. The last frame jumps ahead one hour to illustrate income; it is not a real-time clock.

Choose a card with the dots or arrows. Play advances every three seconds and stops at the last card.

Illustrated example. Names, balances and outcomes are examples, not live player records.

Try it yourself

  1. Sign in and open Pizzeria Campaign from the top menu. Review what opening a pizzeria makes public: XP, crew and cookoff statistics.
  2. Choose Open my pizzeria. Your till starts with 30 Coins.
  3. Find Cashier and choose Hire kitchen staff. The first cashier costs 20 Coins, leaving 10 in the till. XP is not deducted.
  4. Return later or refresh the pizzeria to collect accrued income. The income line shows your current Coin rate.

02 / Try it yourself

Keep experience. Decide where Coins go.

There is no XP-to-Coin exchange rate. XP unlocks kitchen staff; Coins pay for hires, upgrades and agreed wagers.

XP stays at 120 while the example hires a guard, banks Coins and loses a cookoff. Only the exposed till balance falls.

Try it yourself

  1. Play and participate around IATPM to build lifetime XP. Repetitive activity may not earn more XP.
  2. Check a kitchen staff card’s XP requirement and Coin price separately. Meeting the XP requirement does not pay the Coin price.
  3. Hire kitchen staff with Coins, or deposit Coins into your protected bank. A later withdrawal moves them back to the till.
  4. A successful cookoff can reduce the opponent’s exposed till Coins. It never removes XP, kitchen staff or banked Coins. Community contribution points and medals remain separate.

Know what you are looking at

Lifetime XP
Permanent lifetime experience. Hiring, cookoffs and Coin wagers do not spend it.
Coins in the till
Spendable Coins. Some can be exposed to cookoffs; a small reserve remains protected.
Protected Coins
Your bank balance. Ordinary cookoffs cannot reduce it. Withdraw before spending or wagering it.

Use a name to meet the player.

Select a registered name in posts, comments, Messenger or scoreboards. Their card shows XP, kitchen staff and public records. Compete reviews a cookoff, Pizzeria Campaign stats opens public campaign statistics in another popup without leaving the page, Challenge for Coins starts a wager offer, and How to play opens these guides. Guest aliases and names typed into prose do not claim an account.

If something does not work

Does one Coin equal one XP?

No. The two totals have different jobs and do not convert into each other.

I cannot afford the next kitchen staff member.

Check both the required XP and the Coin price. Let your cashier work, participate around the site and review the next upgrade before buying.

Can a new pizzeria enter a cookoff immediately?

New shops have an establishment period. Other cookoff protections may also make a pizzeria unavailable; see Cookoffs, duels & wagers.
